TURNING MUSIC INTO CLIMATE ACTION IN 2024

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our 2024 Impact Report; a celebration of how the music industry is taking bold, sustainable steps into the future!

A few of the EarthPercent team at our Annual Gathering in Jan 25

In the past year alone, we’ve:

• Given $710,000 to our grant partners doing vital work to combat the climate and biodiversity crises through trust-based funding that empowers them to be both resilient and strategic.

• Helped fund 18 organizations directly—and many more indirectly through partners we support such as the Youth Climate Justice Fund and Global GreenGrants UK

• Reached 10.5M+ million music fans and listeners through the Sounds Right initiative led by the Museum for the UN, with EarthPercent as a key partner.

• Been featured in leading publications like Billboard, The Fast Company, BBC Radio 6, Forbes, BBC News, Music Business Week, NME, Kerrang and even honored as IQ Magazine’s Green Guardians of 2024!

In less than 3 years, this amounts to EarthPercent having:

• Awarded over $1.4 million to climate and biodiversity initiatives.

• Engaged thousands at live events and virtual roundtables.

• Funded 27 crucial environmental organizations.

• Sparked the release of hundreds of songs that help raise funds for our planet.

• Earned the support of over 340 individual artists.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished so far, and even more motivated to continue building this movement.

This report isn’t just a collection of numbers—it’s a call to action. Coming on board to EarthPercent gives supporters the opportunity to be part of tangible and inspiring action for our planet through music itself. As our industry evolves, as does the state of the world - being part of our movement can not only create positive action and model a proactive approach to the systems change that is needed, but it can feel hopeful and energising to do so.
